Olympic spirits: the seven names in the Arbatel
Aratron, Bethor, Phaleg, Och, Hagith, Ophiel and Phul are the seven Olympic spirits described in the Arbatel tradition. Here, “Olympic” does not identify a list of the gods of Greek mythology.

Context and method
The Arbatel describes these names with planetary attributions and offices. Modern tables may add colours, metals or days from other systems. Distinguish what the source states from later correspondences.
How to study and use it
Check the name and planet in the table, then compare the entry with your edition of the Arbatel. Record spelling variants and passages supporting each association. Shared planetary terms do not make different catalogues interchangeable.
